Abstract
Palmitoyl KTTKS (Pal-KTTKS), a derivative of KTTKS has been known for better skin penetration to stimulate skin matrix replenishment through topical application. The main purpose of this study was to find the opitmal formulation of pal-KTTKS for transdermal delivery. In this study, three kind of formulaion - hydrophilic, hydrophobic and emulsion formualtion were examined. On in vitro retention study, pal-KTTKS was retained with higher amount in stratum corneum than viable layer. The higher retention rate of pal-KTTKS was observed in the emulsion formulation than others.
